  1. Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Vocational Training: The JCA aims to enhance the capabilities of Cambodian SMEs and improve vocational training programs. This initiative seeks to develop a skilled workforce and strengthen the local business ecosystem.
  2. Promoting Investment in Agro-Processing Industries: By encouraging investment in agro-processing, the plan intends to add value to Cambodia's agricultural products, thereby increasing export potential and supporting rural economies.
  3. Advancing Digital Industrial Parks: The development of digital industrial parks is envisioned to attract technology-driven investments, fostering innovation and modernizing Cambodia's industrial landscape.

Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed appreciation for the JCA's initiatives and reaffirmed the Cambodian government's commitment to creating a conducive environment for foreign investment. He highlighted the policy of establishing Special Economic Zones (SEZs) tailored to specific industries and partner countries, particularly Japan. The Prime Minister also encouraged the exploration of an Exclusive Special Economic Zone (ESEZ) dedicated to Japanese SMEs, emphasizing the government's support for such collaborative efforts.(គណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្áž–ុជា-ážœិមាន៧មករា, Fresh News Asia)

This strategic partnership aligns with Cambodia's broader economic goals, including the Pentagonal Strategy, which aims to transform the country into a high-income economy by 2050 through diversification, competitiveness enhancement, and sustainable development.(Wikipedia)
