The new chip contains eight CPUs, four four-speed 2.4GHz Cortex-A73 and The 4-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 processor, contains 12 Mali-G72MP12 GPUs, and has a 10-nanometer battery. There is also a NPU (Neural
Processing Unit) that also supports the AI technology. This new speed is faster than Kirin 960 20% and 50% and less energy consumption.
Huawei Senior Vice President Richard Chu said in an interview during the IFA show: "Comparing to Samsung and Apple, we are ahead of them. Users are keen on faster, energy-efficient battery life long and attractive design ".
Speculation that Huawei's first smartphone, which will use the chip, is Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro to launch. On Oct. 16.
