Spy robots record gorillas singing and farting

The gorilla robot recorded life videos of silver-backed gorillas in Uganda.
Gorilla robot filmed video showing gorilla singing while eating. This behavior has never been recorded before. The video also records the sound they fart. Each day, gorilla eats more than 18 kg of food.

A rare video of the activities of the silver-backed gorilla is played in the Nature: Spy in the Wild 2 series on PBS. This is a program that tracks the natural habits of animals through robots shaped like them.
Matt Gordon, the producer of the program, said they designed a spy robot that looks like a small gorilla, can move, close its eyes and use its own fist to punch the chest, the behavior normally found in gorilla. It can also roll its eyes in the same way that small gorillas communicate normally. The production team hopes that with that shape, the spy gorilla is easy to join the group.
In 2016, researchers confirmed gorillas singing while eating. They discovered this when they observed gorillas in reserves in the Republic of Congo and published in PLOS ONE magazine.
The authors also concluded that adult gorillas sing more than baby gorillas, males sing more than females. They also prefer to make this sound when eating seeds or aquatic plants than when eating insects.
